What to Bring to a Picnic

And since picnic is an outdoor activity, you simply have to pack things. Even if you're dropping by some drive-through along the way, whereby recovery you time (and space) in making ready and storing your food, you'll still have to bring a handful of things along with you. The first rule to remember is to make a list of things you should bring. You don't want to mess up a lovely picnic day only to find out you forgot to bring something or you left something back home. First, what are you packing and just how many should you pack?

Well, it depends.

Consider 4 things:
-  What will be your activities be during your picnic?
-  How many are going?
-  Do you have an extra operation that requires extra "stuffs"? example, grilling, hiking, mountain climbing etc. That will add on to your packs too.
-  And of course, just how much space can your car/van accommodate?

There are accepted base things we ordinarily bring for picnics. Think of these things as if a picnic is not a picnic without them and therefore, should never be forgotten in any way. Except if you're not eating out, you will no longer need the following:

Good Food - the first on the list. What's a picnic without good food?
This, of course depends on your preference. It's natural to think that bringing your favorites will admittedly complete your picnic. After all, that's what you enjoy most. But before you jump into that, your main concern should be food safety.

Consider the time lapsed in the middle of when you pack your food and when you're going to eat it. Don't bring food that spoils easily. Check out also the temperature. Warm weather may speed up the onset of bacteria. base picnic foods are sandwiches, bread, and fruits. You can also bring snacks and finger foods - chips, pizza, candies, chocolate bars, cupcakes, and packed juice. Don't forget the water. If you're grilling, pack your raw meat in ice to avoid spoilage.

Food storage, dining sets, and kitchen utensils
For your packed food, you can pick to store them in either plastic or steel containers. Bring along a huge water jug, and cooler of course, with loads of ice. Bottle/can opener, knives, bread knives, dining sets which include plates, cups, spoons and forks, napkins etc. For the dining set, the whole of each will depend on the whole of habitancy too. How many habitancy are you bringing along? Is it a date for two, a lovely house of four, or a huge outdoor house reunion? Naturally, you will have to count all in. And it is all the time wise to set spares aside. You can also opt for disposables instead, which is highly recommended; saves you a lot in cleanup time. Trash bags also come in handy.

The Picnic Basket
Of course, how can you bring your food without a picnic basket? There are different types of picnic baskets to pick from, depending on the type of food you're going to bring, whole of habitancy who will go on a picnic or the type of picnic.

There are barbecue picnic baskets, which are, of course great for barbecue picnics, picnic baskets for 2, picnic baskets for 4, insulated picnic baskets, gourmand picnic baskets and a lot more to suit your needs.

Other picnic amenities
Folded or transportable chAirs and tables - it's best to bring your own if they are not in case, granted on your picnic venue. First aid kit, insect repellant, sun Screen lotions. These admittedly come in handy when you're outdoors, especially for a long time. Camera, extra cash, extra towels and shirts, umbrella, and even battery operated radio/sound system. Picnic day is a fun day, bringing some of these will not hurt at all, plus they don't take much space too.
